Visa Types
Visas & Permits Available in Vietnam
Vietnam offers a few core visa and residency categories, each suited to a different purpose and length of stay.
Work Permit
ATA provides a work permit to allow you to work legally in Vietnam. Our team accompanies you during every step to get your work permit approved, and can provide a digital work permit as well as a normal work permit. We help you gather all required documents to ensure a smooth process.
Temporary Residence Card (TRC)
A TRC is issued to foreigners who intend to stay in Vietnam for an extended period. It acts as both a visa and a residence permit, allowing the holder to live and work in Vietnam without repeatedly applying for entry visas. TRCs are usually valid for one to three years and are often issued to expatriates with work permits, investors, and dependents of foreigners working in Vietnam.
Business Visa
A Business Visa (often referred to as a DN visa) is intended for foreigners entering Vietnam for business purposes, such as attending meetings, conferences or exploring business opportunities. Typically valid for up to 12 months with multiple entries — though it does not permit the holder to take up employment in Vietnam.
