Visa Types
Visas & Work Permits Available in Thailand
Thailand offers several visa and work permit categories, each suited to a different type of role and length of stay.
Work Permit
ATA provides a work permit to allow you to work legally in Thailand. Our team accompanies you during every step to get your work permit approved, and can provide a digital work permit as well as a normal work permit. We help you gather all required documents to ensure a smooth process.
Visa Non-B
A multi-entry Non-B visa paired with a bank account, renewed annually. We can also help with the 90-day reporting requirement, and cancel your visa according to your schedule if you need to leave Thailand.
DTV Visa
For digital nomads and remote workers based in Thailand — a long-stay visa for those working remotely for an overseas employer or business.
Visa Non-O
For close family members joining you in Thailand. This visa does not permit employment, and is divided into categories including retirement visa, marriage visa and guardian visa for parents.
Retirement Visa
Part of the Non-O category, for retirees aged 50 and above looking to settle long-term in Thailand — renewable annually with proof of funds or income.
Before You Apply
Immigration Considerations for Thailand
The procedures differ case by case, and several factors need to be considered before starting the process. Additional complexity is added if the employee is coming with family — they will also require visas, and you'll need to plan for the 90-day reporting requirement that applies to employees and family members alike.

Is your employee already in Thailand, or will they be relocating from another country?
Does your employee already have a valid work permit and visa from a previous company?
